
I have always thought that the perfect biscuit was a top-secret southern power. Like, you had to be from the south and sit at your grandma’s knee to learn the secret to a fluffy, thick, delicious biscuit. Apparently, it’s not- who knew? I found the best biscuit recipe in the world in my Magnolia Kitchen cookbook. You know what the secret is? Butter. Lots and lots of butter!

I love my Magnolia cookbook and when I was craving biscuits, it was my new go-to. My California heart just about died when it called for 3 sticks of butter, but I knew if I was going to get a true southern biscuit, sacrifices had to be made! The biscuits were super simple to put together, it was just the clean up that sucked!

The finished product surpassed all expectations. These are the perfect buttermilk biscuits! They are so good and light and fluffy and…just downright good! It’s ridiculous that a single food can be this perfect!
