This book…this book!!! In case you couldn’t tell, I am in love with this book! I had no idea what In Five Years was about, but it was available on my Libby app so I decided to download it and give it a shot. Having never read anything by Rebecca Serle, I didn’t know what to expect- and I was so pleasantly surprised!
The book begins with Dannie, a woman after my own heart- a planner! She has a plan for her life and knows when she wants to get engaged, married, and start a family. Her best friend, Bella, is the exact opposite- free spirited and embraces life as it comes…which kind of drives Dannie insane!
This story is about love and friendship and about how you can never really plan for life. It was an unexpected ode to female friendships and it was different than anything I have read recently. It wasn’t a big time commitment- I finished it in about 4 hours… which was perfect.
Give this one a try!!!
