Winter Workouts

All throughout this crazy year, I have really put in a concerted effort to keep a consistent workout schedule. Without gyms and pools- my workouts have looked a bit different but I am really enjoying what I have found.

Greg and I purchased a monthly subscription to glo– a yoga and Pilates streaming service. You can do live or recorded classes and they have so many different levels and workouts available. I am loving the mat Pilates classes and find that a 45 minute class first thing in the morning is awesome. For $18/month, I feel like you really get your money’s worth.

I have been running about 3-4 times a week and I have noticed it is already so cold when I leave the house! After a few mornings of chilly weather, I broke down and purchased a pair of fleece lined leggings from Amazon. This Naviskin pair got really good reviews and I like them-for walking. I found that when I run they tend to slip down around the waist. I’m on the lookout for a good pair of slightly higher-waisted fleece leggings that will stay in place a bit more. But, for the price (and for long walks with Lily) I have enjoyed the Naviskin leggings. They definitely deliver when it comes to warmth!
