Have you ever considered what your life could have been? Like, if you would have taken a different job, moved to a different city, or went on a date with a different someone. What could have been?
Matt Haig uses this idea as the premise of his novel, The Midnight Library, and it is a fascinating read. A woman, Nora, on her deathbed, is given the opportunity to look at her life and what it could have been with different choices made along the way.
The book meanders through the different lives of Nora and it is fascinating. I love how far-reaching the stories were, and the way they were all connected.
The whole time I read this book I kept thinking about how cool of a movie this story would make. Honestly- it would be a shame if it wasn’t turned into a film! So many opportunities here! I see like a Jennifer Lawerence- type as Nora…
Don’t miss this book- it was wonderful! And Asya, once again, you killed it on the book recommendation!! ❤️
I can’t wait to read it.
