Happy Friday- and happy dawn of a new era! I saw this picture on the Biden IG feed and it made me so excited for what is to come- especially the fact that we have a woman…finally a woman…as VP! The history nerd in me loved the fact that it happened exactly 100 years after women received the right to vote- it is like it was meant to be. I have to say, last Saturday when the race was officially called, I, like many across the country, raised a glass to surviving the last four years and celebrating what is to come. 1.20.21- I’m ready for you!
The other day, Tay was cooking something up on the kitchen and came out with the prettiest drink- that I just loved. She called it her Halloween Hot Cocoa and it was a hot cocoa, whipped cream, and a grated Kit Kat bar on top. I loved her creativity and it gave me some ideas for future cupcake toppings…
We’ve hit a cold spell in Southern California and I could not be any happier. Every time I check the weather app- all I see are highs in the 60s and low 70s…my kind of weather! While I have been loving it- you would think it was below freezing the way the dogs have been acting!
