Hello my fellow quarantiners! What a long, strange week it’s been. I can’t believe that just a week ago we were getting word from our school district that we were shutting down and this whole thing really felt real. This past week has been a new experience for us and as we try daily (or hourly!) to make the best of the situation, here are little pieces of happiness I’ve found.
I have been fastidious cleaning every surface in the house, both out of a major fear of germs and out of downright boredom. This spray that I bought a few weeks ago at Target, has been my very favorite product to use. Clean Freak (I love the name!) doesn’t leave pesky streaks on my counter and smells amazing.
Happy Hour has become a staple in my day (honestly, it should be a staple in everyone’s day!!!) and I have discovered a new wine that is ridiculously cheap and surprisingly good! When I went to Trader Joes’s to stock up over the weekend I grabbed this fancy looking $2-Buck-Chuck (it was actually $4!) on a whim. I wasn’t expecting much from the wine, but I really ended up liking it and for the price and the fact that they use organic grapes, it can’t be beat!
The biggest benefactors of this whole quarantine experience have hands down been Lily and Oscar. They are loving the unlimited snuggles and being around their humans 24/7.
I hope you are surviving this crazy time we are in and that you are able to find a little piece of happiness in each day- whether it comes in the form of wine…or cleaning supplies!
