TGIF – fun finds

Welcome to the (almost!) weekend! I know as the mornings have been getting colder and colder, it’s harder to get out of bed! Even with daylight savings time, my bed has been reluctant to let me go in the morning. Here are some things I have found that are actually worth getting out of bed for!

Four Sigmatic makes an amazing mushroom coffee that Greg and I have really began loving. Mushroom Coffee – is that really a thing? Yes – and it’s amazing. It has less acid than regular coffee (which I really like!) and it helps support digestion, doesn’t have the jittery side effects as regular coffee, and an overall smoother taste. I cannot taste the difference between mushroom coffee and regular coffee, but I know that I feel better when I drink it. I don’t get the low crash that I do with my regular cup of joe!

Nothing is better with a good cup of coffee than a Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Pop Tart. These are seasonal – only come out around this time- and they are so good! I am not a sweets person, but these are amazing. I keep them at work and my TA and I will sometimes split one. A nice little treat on a Friday…

The pups have not been lacking on snuggle time – and keeping warm! The nice thing (for me) on these cold mornings is that Lily is less excited to get out of bed. That means no more 4:00am wake up calls from her!

Happy Friday!

  1. Great blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused ..
    Any recommendations? Thanks!
