TGIF- fun finds

I had some fun this year with Valentine’s gifts for my friends and student TA’s. I found these adorable gel pens from Amazon and let them lead me in my gift giving! The socks wrapped around the flamingo pens were a cozy touch – and who doesn’t love a good pair of festive socks?

Ahhhhhh KitchenAid – what have you done? I stumbled upon this mixer in Instagram scouting one day and just about died. Never have I seen a more beautiful mixer. A little investigation led me to the Williams Sonoma website where I found  my new love. This mixer is perfection and I am in love!!

Tay has been taking art classes at a local studio for a few weeks now, and this is her most recent masterpiece. She has always been artistically inclined, but I am blown away with the talent she is displaying right now. Bob at Studio 316 has created such a nurturing creative space for his students it’s no wonder she is turning out artwork like this!

My insanely talented and super amazing sister-in-law has her new blog up and running this week. It was our New Year’s pact (over a bottle of Dom Perignon!) to share our passions and start our very own blogs this year. Well – go check out Budgeting with Boys to find some easy home updates and adorable Valentine’s projects!

Finally, I’ll leave this little gem here. I laughed out loud when I read this, because as of late, my friend Jill and I have been seeking each other out in the parking lot before work and sitting in each other’s cars contemplating if we want to go in and face the students or just drive away! Teacher life is no joke – these dark, cold months are brutal!!!

Happy Friday! Have an awesome weekend!!!
